Effenco’s electric hybrid system provides the greatest benefits to vehicles that make frequent stops: in workplaces, in queues, in traffic, during deliveries and at pick-up points. Each time the truck makes a full stop, the hybrid system turns off the engine reducing idling time and restart it upon break release. In addition, Effenco’s hybrid system provides enough energy to run the PTO. Therefore, all auxiliary equipment can still operate while the engine is off.

The Effenco’s electric hybrid system is installed in parallel to the vehicle’s baseline components. It can be installed on about any truck, and is compatible with diesel and CNG engines.

The electric system uses ultracapacitors which are better suited for heavy-duty applications. They are recognized for their robustness, long service life and resistance to temperature fluctuations.
